Chapter 1 -- Sands of Time

"Yuuhi, How's the restaurant," Aya started out the conversation at the extra full dining room table. Aya, Tooya and their two children, Miku and Aki, had come to visit the Aogiri family.

"It's been good, my mom and I have been getting a lot closer," Yuuhi said.

"I'm happy for you, so..."

"Uncle Yuuhi, this is really really really good," Miku interrupted her mother.

"Thank You, Miku," Yuuhi smiled.

"So Yuuhi, Are you and Chidori actually an item now," Aya began to smile widely as everyone began to stare at Chidori, whose face was glowing a bright red color and Yuuhi, who was about to nod his head until a clash of noise from the kitchen turned everybody head in that direction.

"What was that, Yuuhi, I didn't hear you," Mrs. Q yelled.

Everyone else had their eyes back on the pair.

"Come on little brother, you and the girl, a couple or not; however, I wouldn't understand why though, I mean he isn't..." Tomonori spoke after a long awkward silence but was for to silence himself, when Suzumi hit him in the back of the head.

Yuuhi didn't speak at all, but smirk instead. Chidori on the other hand could not take the pressure of all those eyes staring at her, and Shouta began to poke her side, as she release a quick scream.

"Yes, alright, WE ARE an item, just stop pestering me," She yelled.

She began to lower her head in her hands to cover that blush growing back to her cheeks. Yuuhi couldn't help, but laugh at the situation. before him. Soon everyone else, but Chidori was laughing with him. He quickly grab her hand, and her a giggle escape her lips. Yuuhi leaned over to Chidori and whisper something for her ears only, which kept the blush on her cheeks for the entire dinner.

After dinner, Mrs. Q and Shouta watched  Miku and Aki, while Aya and Tooya went to Tokyo for a romantic night out. At the house, Tomonori was attempting to woo Suzumi in the living room and Yuuhi and Chidori were in his room away from everyone else.

"Are you ok from dinner, You seem a bit red," Yuuhi laughed while brushing her hair away from her face.

"You didn't help much, you just say there with that little smirk of yours, letting them attack me with their eyes and Shouta poking me in the side like this," Chidori raise her voice slightly and poking him in the chest.

Yuuhi grabbed her wrist, pulled her in his lap, grab her face and then kissed her hard on the lips. Chidori, out of breath, broke the kiss apart.

"You're cute when, you're mad," he kissed her again.

"I know."

The Aogiri household and friends settle to bed and later fell into a restful sleep through most of the night until one scream fill the entire house.
